The Administrative Team of Calvary Temple wears many hats. We are divided into four different departments, which combine as one to serve the ministry.
As Chief Administrator, Co-Pastor Thompson makes sure the Administrative Team is on top of the business of the church. The configuration of departments such as staffing and procedures are designed by her. Also, any decisions or changes that need to be made on behalf of the departments as it relates to church business are made by her.
As Liaison to the Chief Administrator, Pastor Craddock oversees all actions of the Administrative Team and acts as a go between for the Chief Administrator and the departments. She also, sees to it that everyone on the team is in place and committed to their position. All mandates and changes that affect each department are given to her to relay to the appropriate parties to make sure it is implemented. She is also poised to handle any problems that arise.
The Departments:
Pastor’s Administrator:
As the Pastor’s Administrator the responsibilities are to take care of the needs of the Pastor. Such as scheduling speaking engagements & appointments, weekly reminders, corresponding with the Church Administrator and Senior Pastor’s Armor Bearers, inviting other Pastors for speaking engagements, travel arrangements and making sure his calendar is up to date.
Church Administrator:
The Church Administrator handles all the business of the church under the watchful eye of Co-Pastor Thompson and Asst. Pastor Craddock.. The Church Administrator’s has the responsibility to make sure The Administrative Team is in place, handle all incoming and outgoing mail, make sure all bills are paid, schedule appointments and workshops, rental of the church for different engagements, speak with vendors, update accounts, handle telephone calls incoming and outgoing, update addresses and correspondence with the CTCC staff.
Accounts Payable:
The responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Department are to satisfy all invoices, file confidential documents, create general ledgers are reports, view all check requests, also review and submit loan applications. Submit invoices in a timely fashion.
Accounts Receivable:
The responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Department are to handle all monetary income that is brought into the ministry. Each week they input tithes and offerings into the accurate accounts, they are responsible for placing money in accounts and when requested give a record of finances. Accounts Receivable also researches financial discrepancies and keeps records of all monetary income.
To serve on the Administrative Team, you must be a tithe paying member of C.T.C.C. and meet all requirements stated in the by laws, attend C.E.D., Sunday Morning Worship and Wednesday Evening Bible Study and Prayer.
